Rant for the week: LOTUS NOTES SUCKS!
And that's just all there is to say. It sucks, sucks SUCKS! Was it designed by a twelve year old 35 years ago? That's how bad it sucks. It cannot be described, how much it sucks. Why an enterprise such as the one I work for would find any reason to still use this piece of shit also cannot be described or explained. TO HELL WITH LOTUS NOTES AND EVERY DEVELOPER WHO EVER WORKED ON THE GODDAMN PIECE OF SHIT!

My problem? I tell you problems... Lotus Notes today marked 90% of my saved emails unread, and presented a view of my inbox from 2004. 2004!!! Where the hell did it pull that from? WTF!!!!
Lotus Notes Crappy and non-Functioning Features Compensator II has given up trying to compensate. I'm going to start hand walking all my messages all over the company.

Notes is without a doubt the worst pice of shit software I have ever had the misfortune to use. If I die of a heart attack - tell my family to sue IBM ... those bastards. Can't even change default font size on emails. They are too good to ask "are you sure you want to quit" when you click the X Close icon to close a tab, which you always will occasionally do. Copy / Paste an attachment? fagetaboutit. I could go on for hours, but I'm sure you know.
I would strangle every son-of-a-bitch that had a hand in developing this trash if I could.

Jeff, sorry I didn't see your post earlier; I'm with you, with you all the way. I aged 10 years at that company. Then jesus must have visited earth and delivered me from notes hell, b/c I now work somewhere we have Outlook. Best of luck to you my brother, best of luck!

I couldn't agree more with most comments here.
It's the 3rd company that I work for that has Notes. I've been using the damn thing for more than 12 years and I never got used to it. Every day I have to deal with the crap UI and poorly designed application. This is from the stone age. Software made by idiots and maintained by idiots. Biggest piece of crap than this? I don't know, and I am sure it cannot exist, for this is the biggest convergence of poor design skills and shitfull thinking that mankind has seen.
If I quit my job, Lotus Notes will be one of the reasons.
If I ever have my own company, one rule will be king: Lotus software is PROHIBITED".
